In March, CPW management team and members held their annual planning and social get together at the Clogwyn outdoor pursuits centre in Bangor North Wales. The objective of the weekend was to discuss and plan Camp Project Wales Summer camp 2020, as well as a good catch up with friends over the weekend.
Arriving on the Friday evening and leaving Sunday a busy weekend was foreseen. Friday evening was used as a social and catch up with was a friends we hadn’t seen for a while. Saturday was more a formal planning and information sharing day, so after breakfast the group work and presentations commenced. There was lots of really good, positive input from all involved with formal presentations on progress so far from all the group leads, as well as planning for this year’s actual camp. A very busy but productive Saturday.
After all the formal CPW activity was completed, we all relaxed for dinner and a Saturday evening of socialising and even a venture out into Bangor. Sunday morning was the usual mix of breakfast and cleaning up to ensure we leave the centre as we found it. Then all on our way back to sunny Halton.
